The contest lasts for two months, in which you may start creating your PBBG. After that, there will be one month for the winner to be selected and for the next contest to be set up.
The winner will be selected based simply on how fun their game is. Please note that details such as the number of players your game has accumulated will not be taken into account. The winner is chosen by a selected panel of judges, who will play all games entered into the contest and vote for their favourite.

Requirements
Your game does not need to have its own domain name, and it can be on free hosting.
You will need to make a post in the appropriate board on the forum, introducing yourself, any other team members and your game idea.
The game must not use Java or Flash. It must be in a server-side language such as PHP, ASP or Ruby on Rails.
Important: You must not submit games you have created in the past, or begin working on a game before the start of the contest.
You may continue working on your game past the end date. However, beyond that date all the judges will be testing out your games. If they find anything that's broken or incomplete, that could count against you.
We encourage all participants to play and test out other participants' games!
As the main sponsor of this contest, we sponsor the winner with 1 week of wallpaper advertising, 10,000 ad impressions and a series of 3 articles covering your submission.
Plus, for all participants: If you submit your game entry to us, you will receive a guaranteed listing, and a 50% discount on all advertising at Galaxy News!
