Galaxy-News: Why don't you give a brief description of Romecom.
SuperDaz: Romecom is a web based RPG set in the Roman times. You can buy a Centurion and war other users for money or just try and rule the empire. It is also a great place to meet new people we have a great community and everyone is friendly.
Galaxy-News: When and why did you start developing the game and what are you aiming for?
SuperDaz: I've always liked playing RPG's but always felt like something was missing from the gameplay and also with some games I played there was never any updates and the admins didn't care it seemed like they were in it for the money and didn't care what
the community wanted.
A friend of mine NoobEnforcer who is the founder of ZeroShadow Network gave me the o
pportunity to start a game
we decided on a roman theme game and in october of last year Romecom was born.
SuperDaz: Well, a lot of the games around you can start today by tomorrow your level 50 with millions of dollars to me those games are boring and lack a challenge so with Romecom I made it hard at the moment the highest level in the game is level 40 and the money in the game is still very low it's a challenge you wont get nothing to easy and you have to put the effort into the game to make something of yourself.
Galaxy-News: How much time does a player have to spend within your game on an average day to stay on top?
SuperDaz: It depends on how bad you want to be at the top but otherwise only a few hours a day.
SuperDaz: The market is massive so theres enough for everyone but what does spoil it is the amount of people who have seen a few games make money and think they can spend 2 minutes getting a game up and they will be in the money when really they dont know anything about it and only want to take peoples money. When I started romecom I didn't do it for the money, I just wanted a fun and friendly game that was fair to play.
Galaxy-News: What influence do you think web 2.0 could have on future games?
SuperDaz: Well, you have a big community so it's worth while to game owners to be a part of web 2.0. You offer a good platform for owners to put over there goals and aims and thus enrich both
Galaxy-News: How many people are currently working for Romecom (ZeroShadow Network) and what are your plans for the next years?
